Staebler has her way with franks, with dishes like Weiner Vegetable Casserole. You are likely to wind up with double the sauce you need. In the recipe for Apple Sponge Pudding, she notes: Eat at Our House. The marinade is traditionally made with vinegar, but Staebler gives the option of substituting red wine, which she prefers.
